My First Market: A Day to Remember
This past weekend, I had the joy of stepping into something new—my very first art market. I’ve been painting, dreaming, and preparing for months, and to finally share my work with the world under the name Artistry was such a milestone.
Walking into the space with my table set up, watercolors displayed, and little touches of my personality sprinkled throughout, I felt both nervous and excited. Would people stop? Would they connect with my art?
The answer was a wonderful yes. Shoppers paused, looked closer, and even asked about my process. Some lingered and shared their own stories. And to my delight, a few even decided to bring pieces of Artistry home with them. That moment—watching someone choose your work because it speaks to them—is one I’ll never forget.
What made the day even better was the company. I was surrounded by friends who showed up with encouragement, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes everything feel brighter. Their presence made the day feel less like a first step into the unknown and more like a celebration.
Looking back, I’m filled with gratitude. Gratitude for the chance to share my art, for the kindness of those who stopped by, and for the friends and supporters who made me feel like I truly belonged in that space.
This market was just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where the journey takes me next. 🌊🎨✨
👉 I’ve updated my shop with the pieces still waiting for a home—think of it as a little treasure hunt through Artistry. Who knows, you might just find the one that speaks to you. ✨ Browse the shop here.
